Terms & Privacy

Memorabilia helps families gather memories of someone they loved and turn them into printed keepsakes. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect and the rules for using the service.

What we collect

  • From families: your name and email, the name and dates of the person you are remembering, a photo, gathering dates, and anything you add.
  • From guests: the memory you write, photos or recordings you choose to add, and the name and relationship you give (optional; you can post anonymously). We don’t create guest accounts.
  • Orders: shipping addresses. Payments are handled by Apple or Stripe; we never see full card numbers.

Who can see it

Everything a guest shares goes to the family first. Nothing is shown to other guests or printed unless the family approves it. Pages are private by default.

Photos and location

We remove location data (GPS) from photos when they are uploaded.

Age

You must be 13 or older to post. A parent or guardian can post on behalf of a child.

How long we keep it

Memorial pages are kept for at least 10 years. Videos are kept in full quality for 5 years and then in standard quality (480p), unless the family subscribes to keep full quality ($4.99 a month); we remind the family before any change and offer a full-quality download first. Written memories, photos and voice notes are never reduced. Families can download everything (every memory, with links to its photos, voice notes and videos) or delete the memorial at any time (a deleted memorial can be restored for 30 days; then it and all its media are removed for good). If we ever stopped operating, we would email every family at least 90 days ahead with a full download link.

Who we share it with

Only the services needed to run Memorabilia: hosting and storage, transcription of voice notes, content screening, our print partners (for approved book and card content), and payment processors. We don’t sell personal information and don’t show ads.

Rules for posting

Be kind. Post only content you have the right to share. The family may hide anything, and we may remove content that is abusive, hateful or unlawful.

Memorial pages are for people who have died. We may pause or remove a memorial page that is fake, is about a living person, or is used to harass anyone, and we will tell the account holder why.

Printed keepsakes

Books print only after the family approves a proof. If a printed item arrives damaged or with a printing defect, we reprint it free. We never sell products in advance for the future funeral of a living person.
